Dr. Wayne Bennett

After graduating with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in 1992, Dr. Bennett returned to his home town to create the Bennett Clinic team in Prescott . In 2005 he was named “ Arizona Chiropractor of the Year” by the Arizona Association of Chiropractic.

Holistic Approach

Specially trained as a holistic physician, Dr. Bennett enjoys the role of “playing quarterback” for the multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals at the Bennett Clinic. His treatment plans often embrace the “treatment team” approach, combining physical therapy, spinal decompression, massage, etc. to meet the needs of the individual patient. In addition to his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Bennett has attained post-graduate diplomate status from the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists, the American Board of Chiropractic Consultants, and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He is one of only 3 chiropractic physicians in the state of Arizona to have attained all three of these distinctions.

Chiropractic Technique

Skilled in multiple chiropractic techniques, Dr. Bennett selects the approach and discipline to create the most appropriate treatment plan for every patient. As a Palmer graduate he uses “Palmer technique” combined with several other chiropractic techniques.

Over the years, Dr. Bennett has served on over 20 boards of directors, major task forces and committees. A few of these positions include: Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Prescott YMCA, Board of Directors of the Prescott Kiwanis Club, Charter Member: Prescott Open Trails Association, church council member, etc. He volunteers his time routinely to assist in community health projects such as the Lions Health Fair. Professional Leadership Dr. Bennett was the President of the Arizona Association of Chiropractic in 2005/2006. He also served as the Arizona Delegate to the American Chiropractic Association. He has held every office on the board of directors of the Yavapai County Chiropractic Association. He has been active for many years in chiropractic healthcare legislative issues locally, at our state capitol and in Washington, DC. He has been elected to, and has served on, national committees charged with strategic planning for the chiropractic profession and developing chiropractic treatment “best practices”. Dr. Bennett uses his extensive experience in chiropractic consulting, expert witness testimony, etc. to teach continuing education courses for other doctors of chiropractic. Dr. Bennett is currently a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Arizona Association of Chiropractic, the Yavapai County Chiropractic Association, the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists and the American College of Chiropractic Consultants

Dr. Michael Nash

After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in 2002, Dr. Nash returned to his home town to become part of the Bennett Clinic team.

Holistic Approach

Along with the other doctors at the Bennett Clinic, one of Dr. Nash’s key skills is his ability to assess each patient’s individual needs and then create a unique treatment plan for that patient that often coordinates the patient’s care with our team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, decompression therapy, massage therapy, etc. along with chiropractic care.

Multiple Techniques

Dr. Nash is proficient in a number of various techniques and treats each patient using the approach that he feels is best for them. Being a Palmer graduate he uses “Palmer technique”, as well as spinal decompression techniques, instrument adjusting (using the “Activator” instrument), Cox technique and others.

To achieve the best results for his patients Dr. Nash also includes other treatment disciplines, including physical therapy, spinal decompression and massage, in his treatment plans. While one patient may receive the best results with the application of moist heat and a light massage prior to the chiropractic adjustment another may do best with a complete postural correction exercise program under the supervision of a professional Physical Therapist here in our clinic.

Continuing Education Ongoing “lifetime learning” is critical in today’s changing healthcare world. Dr. Nash keeps his clinical skills sharp with routine continuing professional education. Active himself in sports since childhood, Dr. Nash especially enjoys treating and supporting athletes. And as a father and husband, he is keenly interested in sharing the “chiropractic lifestyle” of maintaining  health through good nutrition, exercise, and appropriate chiropractic care.

Giving Back to the Community

Dr. Nash has served on the boards of directors of the Prescott Access Channel and the Prescott Kiwanis Foundation. He volunteers his time routinely to assist in community health projects such as the Lions Health Fair.

Professional Leadership

Dr. Nash is a member of the Arizona Association of Chiropractic and the Yavapai County Chiropractic Association. He is the past-president of the Yavapai County Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Dorian Parent

The Bennett Clinic is pleased to welcome the newest member of our holistic physician team, Dr. Dorian Parent.

Dr. Parent graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1994. He began practice in a small town in northern Michigan and within a short amount of time opened a second location for the convenience of his patients. Dr. Parent has actively participated in successful efforts to update antiquated legislation in the State of Michigan, resulting in empowering Doctors of Chiropractic to practice more holistically in that state.

During his years of practice in Michigan Dr. Parent enjoyed strong professional relationships with the healthcare community and has embraced a patient-centered, integrated approach to care for many years.  This holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to care is what attracted Dr. Parent to the Bennett Clinic when he and his wife, Linda, a Registered Nurse, decided to move to the Prescott Valley community.

The doctor has two children who are involved in the pursuit of higher education. Both have been exchange student benefactors of Rotary International and have traveled extensively.

Dr. Parent will be providing a full spectrum of chiropractic services, including sports medicine, pediatric and geriatric care, etc. as well as coordinating patient care from Bennett Clinic's team of providers that includes physical therapy, spinal decompression therapy, treatment for osteoarthritis, massage therapy and more.

Dr. Parent is a Medicare provider and is accepting new patients.
